Hello, everyone! Thank you again for joining us this month as we close out the year and gear up for 2025! Since it’s been the holidays and we’ve filled you in already on my recent health issues earlier this month, we don’t have loads to catch you up on, but we do have some stuff to cover, so let’s hop into it!
State of the Game
I’ve spent much of my recovery returning to games I enjoy, helping me refresh my mindset for game development and has encouraged and inspired me as we enter the heavy development phase of the most recent addition to our mechanics, Caste Instincts, which has moved from concept into mechanical design. Caste Instincts give you powerful and sometimes unique abilities that only your Champion’s caste of their race and tribe can perform, giving further distinction to your character.
In other Creature Compendium news, Hahli has been gradually collating dozens and dozens of potential creature entries for the better part of the year, and we are now in the process of vetting and conceptualizing the unique abilities and characteristics for each one, ensuring we can put together a large and diverse collection of foes and monsters for you to face along your journey as a Sekuta Champion.
Song of Origins
Our work on the first part of the Song of Origins is coming close to completion, only awaiting a handful of art pieces to complete it. Our music for the first three Movements has been touched up and finalized, and we are gearing up to go into full editing mode once we’ve got those last few assets. We’re very close to having Part 1 done, and hope to be able to get it to you all in the near future!
Live Streams
We are happy to report that our weekly art live streams will return in January! Our first stream will be on the 7th, and we’ll be streaming Charles’ work on Song of Origins art assets. Hope to see you there!
And I believe that’s the last of the news for the month! Thank you all again for your patronage, and we can’t wait to see you guys next time. I hope you all had wonderful holidays, and please stay safe out there.
Cheers,
Isaac Muir
